Welcome Fall 09 Class,

I hope you will enjoy this exploration of the Universe beyond our Solar System. We will first look at stars and then move on to galaxies and the fate of the Universe. Along the way you will learn some amazing facts and feats about the Universe, including Einstein's Theory of Special Relativity. This helps you place yourself and Earth in context. By the end of the course you will have learnt the scientific approach to critical thinking. This is a skill that can be successfully applied to Life, the Universe & Everything!
